I’m Lauren. I’ve been beekeeping for a 3 years but have been studying bees and beekeeping for over 10. I currently have about 30 hives on 3 different properties throughout Hillsborough County, Florida.
Bees play an important role in our ecosystem and I love to spread my knowledge to others by speaking at events, markets and schools.

It comes from honeybees in your local geographic area—usually within 50–100 miles. This matters because the pollen in the honey reflects plants from your area.
What is Local Raw Honey?
RAW
Meaning it has not been heated or pasteurized, and has undergone minimal processing. Because of this, it still contains:
- Natural enzymes
- Pollen
- Bee propolis
- Antioxidants
- Wax and tiny particles that occur naturally in the hive
These components can be reduced or destroyed by heating or excessive filtering.
